Rio de Janeiro–born guitarist and songwriter Edgard blends deep roots in blues and rock with over 25 years of experience across genres. From funk/fusion big bands and country/pop sideman gigs to fronting progressive rock and instrumental fusion projects, his versatility has led him to stages across the U.S., Europe, and Brazil. Influenced early on by Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Jimi Hendrix, his sound fuses raw power with improvisational freedom and expressive artistry.

A graduate of Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, where he studied with world-class artists such as Dean Brown and Scott Henderson, Edgard has collaborated with a wide range of acts while also building his own body of work. His solo EP Live at Bedrock captured his dynamic live energy, while his progressive rock band Polymorph continues to tour internationally, with their debut album Tangible Dreams released in 2023. Now based in Northern California, Edgard is preparing new music that reflects years of exploration, travel, and self-discovery—ready to connect with both longtime fans and new audiences worldwide.
